Two more developments from the January Board of Directors meeting were decisions to charge admission to the museum and to expand the gift shop and build a new standard gauge/tinplate/pre-war layout in a new home at the west end of the building.

Beginning with the Sunday, September 5th opening, admission will be $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family. Visitors will be able to purchase a $40 annual pass.

The new pre-WWII tinplate standard gauge layout will replace the Thomas, the Train layout and the Brio trolley car layout at the west end of the main room. The trolley Brio kids’ trains will move to the new, expanded gift and hobby shop. Trivia bonus: that trolley was the original gift shop at our Foothills Mall location back in the 80’s.
